Iris is one of my favorite flowers for spring designs. Did you know that it takes its name from the Greek word for "rainbow?" That's because of all the color variety of flowers found in the iris family. It is also one of only a handful of true blue flowers found in nature. Paired with my favorite flower, stock (a wonderfully fragrant, clove-scented flower) and roses, iris' make this bouquet beautiful. Wouldn't this make a lovely bouquet for your sweetheart for Valentine's Day?
