Milford Elementary School Cookbooks have arrived!

We have just received the 2008-2009 Milford Elementary Cookbook and it is filled with the most delicious recipes! You can purchase a copy at our store for $15.00. Proceeds go toward PTO projects such as new playground equipment for our school. Some of the recipes submitted by our family include cinnamon streusal coffee cake, black bean dip, easy spiced cider, easy baked manicotti, creamy fuit salad, and many more! Cookbooks can also be purchased at the Elementary school.

Aren't spring flowers the best?

Iris is one of my favorite flowers for spring designs. Did you know that it takes its name from the Greek word for "rainbow?" That's because of all the color variety of flowers found in the iris family. It is also one of only a handful of true blue flowers found in nature. Paired with my favorite flower, stock (a wonderfully fragrant, clove-scented flower) and roses, iris' make this bouquet beautiful. Wouldn't this make a lovely bouquet for your sweetheart for Valentine's Day?

The WookWick candles have been so popular we have decided to try the new mini size! The price point at $9.99 is perfect for gift-giving or for the candle lover who isn't content with the same scent for long. They make a perfect teacher's gift, a quick pick-me-up, or maybe even a "thank-you" for those who help us out in so many ways. Coming soon is a new variation of the WoodWick's--a green line!
